Thursday November 21, 2024 | What memories seem to stand out from my childhood?

First and foremost is that I have memories of staying at my Granmaw's house and spending the night.  I loved spending the night with Granmaw when I was younger like when I was three.  But when I was three, I had these thoughts that I was going to die before my time.  Or something like that.  Now what is that called?

When I was spending the night, me and my granmaw would play board games like Rummy cube. I loved that game.  I see why we played that game.  It was because when we wanted to pass, granmaw would say "I pass" and took a tile from the barn yard.  Oh we also played dominoes as when there was no play we would have to say "I pass" and took a dominoe from the barn yard pile.  That was so much fun.  I loved it!  And when I was three years old, I came up with something called "we play bert and earnie" game.  But what I do want to know is that did I ever talk to Granmaw when I was three years old and what age did I last say anything to Granmaw before I was diagnosed with selective mutism?

Bottom line is that oh the memory that I was running out to Granmaw's car saying "I'll drive Granmaw".  Oh I wanted to drive so bad.

Bottom line is that the memory that stands out the most is me spending the night at my granamaw's house.  Sometimes we would even go to pizza hut back in the 80's.  And sometimes we would go get an ice cream cone at Dairy Queen.  Pizza hut is no more because it went out of business.  I have no idea when it went under.

Thank you granmaw for the great memories!
