I recently had a colonoscopy. Before the procedure, I was very anxious, which I now know can raise my blood pressure. After the procedure, my blood pressure went back down. However, as I was waking up, I heard someone say that I had diverticulitis. That wasn't quite right, but it was close. The thing is, even though I have selective mutism, auditory processing issues, and possibly autism, I still hear things, just minutes or hours later. If I can get a test done to determine whether I have autism, I promise not to mention it again. I swear. I wanted to explain SM but it would be a long story on just a very short time. I wanted to let them see one of these cards but I was fresh out. I figured it would be too much information on just a short time. When she said I looked nervous, I started to do my breathing exercises. The 4, 6, 7 meditation breathing exercise.
