I recently had a colonoscopy. Before the procedure, I was very anxious, which I now know can raise my blood pressure. After the procedure, my blood pressure went back down. However, as I was waking up, I heard someone say that I had diverticulitis. That wasn't quite right, but it was close. The thing is, even though I have selective mutism, auditory processing issues, and possibly autism, I still hear things, just minutes or hours later.
If I can get a test done to determine whether I have autism, I promise not to mention it again. I swear.
