Tuesday July 30, 2024 | Journal prompt from Copilot | We learn an important lesson at a young age

Absolutely! Here are some journal prompts for self-discovery:

  1. “What are three things you’re grateful for today, and why?”
I am grateful for a house to live in.
I am grateful for ice cold water to drink.
I am grateful for

   2. “What is one thing you would change about your life right now if you could, and why?”
I would change the way that I developed selective mutism which it might be a learned experience.  But if I can do hypnosis, I would be able to dig deeper into it?

    3. “Write a letter to your future self. What hopes and dreams do you have for the future?”
Actually, when I was about 9 or 10 I wanted to be an actress.  But because I was in the hospital in Galveston Texas.

4. “What are your top three personal values and how do they influence your decisions?”
I don't know if I have any values at all.  Jason says that I don't have any integrity, but other people do say that I have it.  But then I learn a very important lesson that I learned when I was about 3. I tried to steal a pack of gum and my mom made me go back in there and put it back. I never stole anything ever again.  My sister tried to steal a chocolate candy bar and our mom made her go back in the store and tell the check out lady that she was sorry that she stole it and would never let it happen again. Well I wasn't born yet so I don't know what all was said then.  Me and my sister had learned a very important lesson and we never stole again.  To this day, I make sure the lady at the register rings it up.  This is how honest I am!  I am so honest it is not funny!

5.“What is a fear that you have and how has it limited you? How do you plan on letting it go or overcoming it?”
I have a fear of taking a risk and then getting into trouble over it with my parents.  So I just illiminate it all together and ignore it.  If someone asks me for help, I would just ignore them just so that I wouldn't get into trouble if I were to do it anyway.  I would be in so much trouble.  This kind of goes with the selective mutism that I was diagnosed with at age 5 but I believe that I had it when I was 2 or 3 years old.

These prompts can help you explore your inner thoughts, feelings, and aspirations, leading to a deeper understanding of yourself. Happy journaling! 😊
