Tuesday July 23, 2024 | Journal Prompt for Self-Discovery | Anxiety/Panic Attack

“Write about a personal challenge you’ve overcome. How did you manage to do it? What did you learn about yourself in the process? How has this experience shaped your perspective or behavior?"

I don't know, would selective mutism be a fear of public speaking?   I would like to overcome that.  Or have I even began to even overcome the fear of speaking?  Do I even have that fear of speaking?

No one even realizes how much I have had a panic attack over the last month!  I have taken hydroxyzine.  Well one is about the colonascopy I will have done.  Once I get past that prep, it is smooth sailing!  Oh that last colonascopy I did in 2022, was I got sick and threw up the stuff because I chugged it down so fast.

Noticed that I didn't know how to do this journal prompt so I answered with a question?

“Overcoming the fear of public speaking.”

Many people struggle with the fear of public speaking. It can be a significant hurdle, especially in professions where presentations and public speaking are required. Overcoming this fear could involve joining a public speaking group, practicing speaking in front of friends and family, taking a public speaking course, or even seeking professional help like a coach or therapist. The process of overcoming this fear can lead to increased confidence and improved communication skills, which are valuable in many areas of life. This is just one example, and personal challenges can vary greatly depending on the individual’s unique experiences and circumstances. 😊
