"You are capable of anything you want to achieve" Well apparently no one has ever had selective mutism in my family! ugh! I would like to find out where my selective mutism came from! My grandmother on my mom's side of the family or my dad's real mother--Katherine Rogers? It was probably the reason why my dad was dropped off at the doorstep of my great-grandmother Alice Margaret.(however you spell it) Either one of those two may have had selective mutism or could have been just anxiety and not selective mutism and then I want to find out the root cause of selective mutism and also find out if my selective mutism was a trauma for me. I am pretty sure that it was. Yes, I would remember it and I do remember parts of when I was 2 and parts of stuff when I was 3 some of which my grandmother told me. My quote of "I'll drive grandma" as I ran out to the car. I so wanted to learn to drive as soon as I got old enough and now I can't due to one of my medications.
