Friday May 8, 2026 | What is the best thing you have ever been given?

The best thing that I have ever been given was a ticket to see New Kids on the Block.  I was so excited to see them for the first time.  It was a concert ticket for my 16th birthday to see NKOTB in Houston Texas on February 10, 1990.  it was also a going away present kinda as me, mom and dad were moving to California.  I actually had a choice to either move to California or stay in Texas.  I chose right.  I chose to move to Cali.  I wanted the opportunity to live in California.  I loved it but living there in cali was cold as heck though but don't be fooled by the California sunshine.   Did I also mention how much I love NKOTB as a boyband?  I love each of them but my favorite one is Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight and Jonathan Knight.   Back in the day, my favorite NK used to be Joe Mcintyre and even named my cat after him.  My favorite was also you got it!  Once a Donnie girl always a Donnie girl!  I love each of their songs.  That one song Hangin Tough got me through some hard times in my teenage and adult years.  It taught me to hang tough in whatever I might want to do.  Yeah like what?  I mentioned to mom when I was about 13, I wanted to act.  All she said to me was "you gotta be able to talk to do that".  Oh we could have put our heads together and made something work out.  But nooooooooo she had to a butthead!  Just remember butthead is smarter.  On Beavis and Butthead, Butthead was always the smarter character.  Both were pretty stupid but Butthead was the smarter one!  😂😁
