Saturday July 10, 2021 questions about anger and anxiety?
1) Does anxiety resemble anger or vice versa?
People react to anxiety with anger. One person in a group said.
2) Is being scared a symptom of anger?
Well that is not fair that anger is a secondary emotion of anxiety.
Just trying to understand anxiety really.
3) What is the difference between anger and anxiety?
4) So anger is automatically a symptom of anxiety?
This is nothing SM but when told my google mini to play meditations for anger, it just started playing meditations for anxiety. Does anxiety resemble anger or vice versa?
Great question Pamela. I believe anger is one of many emotions felt when anxiety is triggered. But there is a good chance Google misunderstood your request. Google gets things wrong all the time, sometimes it's funny the mistakes it comes up with.
is being scared a symptom of anger?
Is scared of talking part of anger or anxiety?
Well that's not fair that anger is a secondary emotions of anxiety. 😢
I'm trying to understand this really.
So anger is automatically a symptom of anxiety?
So someone wrote something in the 'Selective Mutism living beyond the Silence' group and I hope they don't mind me quoting them on what they said. So is his opinion right or wrong?
"Perhaps you may feel anger when you avoid doing something (you actually want to do) due to anxiety. The not-speaking might make you angry and the consequences of that (you are alone, people might not like you etc.)"
I wanted to speak up at Weight Watchers and comment on someone else's question. Something about emotions. I can't remember what the lesson was about. But I thought of Anger. That's when someone else said "angry". I would like to say it was about emotions but that's not right. Like I said, I tried to remember what it was about. It's not coming to me. :'( Like I said, I have auditory processing disorder. But how could I only listen to the emotions part of the lesson?
Tongue
Now I'm back to square one with that damn tongue movement. The movements are so small really small. It's almost like they are so mild. Still, I know my tongue is moving all around in my mouth. I'll tell you what it's doing. It moves to the side of my mouth while my teeth bite the inside of my cheek. Then it pops out of my mouth and I wonder if anyone saw that. :-/
