Could social media be harming your mental health? If you ignore everyone else and just go on Google and read affirmations, it could do wonders for your mental health.  Try not to let people get to you.  That's what I do. I listen to music or watch podcasts on YouTube. I recently saw a video about social media and loved this quote: "Nothing of me is original." "I'm a combined effort of everyone I've ever known." "Nothing of me is original and the content I've surrounded myself with." I don't know what these quotes mean, but they keep me calm. I suggest that anyone who has selective mutism or extreme anxiety try this. Look up affirmations or quotes about or, better yet, go on Pinterest and look at inspirational quotes. I have a lot of quotes that I saved. This would cut down on all the stress and anxiety people have and help them stay calm.
